Chelsea maintained their impressive home form with a dominant 5-0 victory over West Ham United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The win moves Chelsea up to seventh in the Premier League standings, boosting their hopes of securing European football next season.
Kai Havertz opened the scoring for the Blues in the 28th minute, heading home a cross from Reece James. Joao Felix doubled Chelsea's lead just before halftime with a clinical finish from inside the box.
The second half saw Chelsea continue to dominate, with Havertz completing his brace in the 56th minute. Mykhaylo Mudryk added a fourth goal for the Blues in the 75th minute, before Emerson Palmieri sealed the victory with a late strike.
West Ham struggled to create any meaningful chances throughout the match and were unable to find a way back into the game. Chelsea's defense remained solid, with Kepa Arrizabalaga making a number of important saves to preserve the clean sheet.
The victory extends Chelsea's unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge to five matches in all competitions. They will be looking to continue their good form when they host Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday.
