The field is set for the NXT Women's North American Championship Ladder Match at the upcoming Battleground premium live event. Reigning NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Zoey Stark, Nikkita Lyons, Indi Hartwell, and Kayden Carter will all compete for the inaugural title.
NXT General Manager Shawn Michaels announced the match on the latest episode of NXT. He also revealed that the winner will receive a guaranteed title shot against Perez.
The NXT Women's North American Championship is a secondary title for the female wrestlers competing on the NXT brand. It is the first-ever women's title to be introduced in WWE NXT.
