Devin Booker's late three-pointer ties game in third quarter

Team USA held off a determined South Sudan squad 101-100 in an exhibition game in London on Saturday. The Americans, who are preparing for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, improved to 4-0 in their exhibition schedule.

South Sudan, which is ranked 39th in the world, gave Team USA a scare, leading by as many as 10 points in the first half. But the Americans rallied behind Devin Booker, who scored 22 points, including a key three-pointer with 58 seconds left in the third quarter that tied the score at 76.

Team USA took the lead for good on a layup by Jayson Tatum with 3:42 remaining in the game. South Sudan had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but Nuni Omot's three-pointer bounced off the rim.

Tatum led Team USA with 23 points, while Booker added 22. Jalen Brunson came off the bench to score 16 points, and Bam Adebayo had 13 points and 15 rebounds.

South Sudan was led by Wenyen Gabriel, who scored 23 points. Omot added 17 points, and Kuany Kuany had 16.

Team USA will continue its exhibition schedule on Monday when they face Spain in Malaga.
